Choose Courage

Today at Church, we were given postcard-sized reminders. These cards carried profound promises, simple enough to memorize, but strong enough to steady a soul. Listening to the message and absorbing the words, I felt the Lord impress these truths on my heart. I want to share them with you, because they are not just for me — they are for all of us.
I have learned that I don't have to know "why," because God is with me. In a world that constantly demands answers, there is peace in simply trusting His presence, even when we cannot see the full picture.
God will never lead you where His presence will not accompany you. Wherever He calls you, He goes before you. You are never alone — not in the waiting, not in the storm, not in the battle.
Eight times in Scripture, God tells us: "Be strong and courageous." It is not a mere encouragement — it is a command backed by the promise of His unfailing presence and strength. (Give yourself a little scavenger hunt - can you find the eight scriptures?)
Courage is a choice: With God, I will be strong and courageous. Fear is natural. Courage is supernatural — and it becomes ours when we choose to trust in Him over what we see.
Today's Prayer: "Lord, I will choose courage today, no matter what, believing that You are with me and will provide all that I need. That is enough."
The postcards we received spoke these truths loud and clear:

These aren’t distant promises for someone else. They are for you. Right now. Wherever you are.
No matter the unknowns, the uncertainties, or the battles you are facing, God’s presence is your unshakable reality. You do not walk alone. You never have. You never will.
Today, take hold of courage. Not because you feel ready. Not because you understand everything. But because the One who calls you is with you — and He is enough.
