As we close out the week on "Leading People" here in Dakar, I am reminded of the importance of valuing people and giving them the best place to work and be nurtured each and every day.
It reminds me to think about the way that I can touch people's lives. I can show value to people in many ways. Human interaction, deep conversation, a kind word, teaching values, a genuine smile, a warm hug. The list goes on and on.
My passion of helping people to become healthy, happy humans makes my world go round. The interactions that I (we) have had with the people of Senegal, but most importantly, the business leaders that attended the Connecting Leadership Resources, "Leading People" seminar, had a profound impact my life. I am forever changed each time I come here to teach.
The world is so much smaller than we think it is. Our ability to serve and value people can have incredible impact globally. Think bigger. Serve bigger. Love bigger. After all, it's all about people.
Until next time my friends in Dakar...I'll be back.
